Awami National Party provincial president Aimal Wali Khan on Saturday said the army chief service extension crisis had exposed the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s incompetence.“The PTI is unable to manage the government affairs. Recently, it disgraced the most prestigious institution of the country by creating a controversy over the extension in the service of the chief of army staff,” he told in National Lawyers Convention at bacha Khan Markaz Peshawar here.
Mr Aimal said the army chief service extension issue had exposed the incompetence of the government’s legal team as the issue would remain debatable for six month in parliament.The ANP leader claimed that all government machinery was managed by those, who brought the PTI to power.
He said PM Imran Khan was bent on destroying the prevailing democratic system.
Mr Aimal said the people would lose confidence in politicians after the rule of the PTI.
He said the ANP wanted a real democratic system in Pakistan, where parliament was supreme and public opinion was respected.
The ANP leader said the PTI government should be removed immediately if the country was to progress.
He declared the Imran Khan government a security threat to the country.
Mr Aimal said his party had always stood with the depressed segment of society and rendered matchless sacrifices for it.
He added that all segments of society, including teachers, students, traders and doctors, were agitating due to the adverse policies of the government.
